Apart from what you have mentioned, the LTD would have nicer quality woodgrain, electric seats and different c pillar windows...

There are no repro FBT grilles, but my plan is to use an EF Fairmont grille, and i'll be making my own chrome mesh grille...

Welcome to the forums by the way.

i have a DF2 LTD and is is very nice. Also the DF/DL had woodgrain radio surround, rear of centre console. LTD came with Premium sound system and chrome on the boot near the lock. Another thing is if you havent got one then good luck trying to find one.

That makes 2 of us, I have found a 5.0 DL for 7k with a sunroof and a pretty little louvre that matches the sheepskin seatcovers..lol
With reg and RWC aswell... Thats gotta be the best value for money option in E-series....
$63,300 in 1998... I'd hate to be the guy that bought it brand new....

Having had both an NC and an NF, both V8's I can tell you that they are both very nice cars. There isn't much between them in terms of comfort, handling, economy etc...

If you feel the newer models are better, then go for the NF/NL models.

IMO, they feel almost exactly the same as the NC, just the styling is different.

ok cool, i actually prefer the styling of the older NC but prefer the interior of the newer one, is it possible to retro fit, some of the interior?
