Default driving down vic st melb, something thrown, damage done.

Driving down victoria st. tonight, im in passenger seat, my mates driving my AU fairmont ghia, and some guy walking down the medium strip throws something at my car, i have a dint in my drivers door from it, no idea what it actually was, but i saw the guy who thru it, and yet we completely innocent and have done nothing to deserve this, i yelled "stop" jumped out of the car and chased this guy several blocks, my mates drove and got down their somewhere around cambridge and langridge st's when when i lost him, i can only assume he went into his own house around there cause there was 2 cars of ours and 3 people chasing on foot, but i mean really WTF is the world coming to when we cant even drive late at night without damage being done to my car.

I was having some fun with a slightly worked VN 5L one night and he didnt like the fact the AU 6 cylinder was a bit quicker than his VN so one of his passengers chucked a half drunk bottle of 600m coke at the car. Got his rego and dropped it into the local cop shop saw him pulled up by a copper 30 mins later down the street.

About 1am this morning, i was around at friends place, and heard all this comotion up stairs, went up and found out friends brother got his Holden Calais's door kicked in by some fat drunk , they got the guy on camera, but its too blurry to make out a face, after kicking the holden, he kicked the parents prado too. Im guessing he might be ford fan, as he left my falcon alone which he walked straight past, either that or some people have got a problem with friends family. Hes had the Calais damaged so many times, which is why theyve got a camera set up to watch the cars. Only last week 2 guys were snooping aroudn the cars, despite friends dads commodore ute was left unlocked, he smashed in the back window, then got scared and ran off when the utes interior lights turned on.

why can't people just respect other people's property.........it comes down to a basic lack of respect. Dislike it if you want, that's your perogative, but it's not yours, so don't touch / wreck / mess with / destroy / interfere with / break it!!!!

Pretty much a weekly occurence in the taxi game

Had phones, money(coins), drink/beer cans and bottles, ice cream, keys, shoes umbrellas, rocks, eggs, mangoes and even people throw THEMSELVES in front of the cab.

Most of the time they are drunk and want a taxi, but doing this is a good way to never get one again.

Unless the object actually comes through the window and injures you Police are not too interested, I have given them photographs from the Taxi Security Cameras, nothing ever happens, it's only a hunk of metal, insurance will pay etc etc....

Always peaks around school holidays as well with little angels hiding in vacant blocks and pegging rocks the size of your fist at cars. They should be charged with attempted murder in my opinion.

Bastards! I've had oranges and tomatos thrown at my car during the day for no apparent reason but the worst was one night at 1 AM when I was driving home peacefully.

It was like I suddenly went through a hail of nailgun fire! I saw kids running away into a house and turned around but couldn't work out which house it was. Up the block I came across two cop cars pulled over for a chat and told them. We couldn't see any immediate damage to the car and they went off to try and find them.

The next day in the light I saw that one of my 17" Tickford alloys had been heavily scratched so I swapped it in with the spare.
