Ur crankshaft is made by Scat...

"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scat may refer to:

Slang

* Slang term for coprophilia, a sexual fetish involving feces
* Technical term for feces. (from scatology)"

Awesome name for a crank shaft.... being "bottom" end.

I just had to say it >.< sorry.

So much has happened since my last post. The heads were sent to Goodman race engines, they were very impressed with the heads from the box. The heads flowed 611.8 HP at 600 thou lift straight from the box. He then done some more porting and cleaning up, and then they matchported the funnelweb to the heads. After the work he got the heads flowing to 636.4 HP at 600 thou lift !!!! Paid a bit of money.........but it was well worth it. I also ditched the 750 holley and purchased a 950 HP holley, which ive been told its the top of the line that holley makes. John from Engine World also recomended a bottom end girdle which was also purchased....it is a big brace that connects all the main caps together which strenthens the bottom end. A 8 litre high energy sump was also bought that suited the extra room that the main cap girdle makes. A 11 inch solid brass button clutch and a explosion proof billet steel flywheel was purchased that is rated to 650 HP. All the engine components are now purchased and in Engine Worlds hands for building. Last week Currie Brothers ballanced the engine parts and they were impressed with all the components. John from Engine World recomended that we send the engine down to Melbourne for Kelvin Black at CDA engine reconditioners to build, as this guy builds all the blown big blocks and twin turbo v8's and his nickname is god down there, he has 29 engines on que to build and mine is set up in his engine room to start this monday 10th sept, hopefully it will be back at the end of the week. The car itself has been booked into Clint at spray paint perfections in Port macquarie for a full engine bay respray, i also got the 2 piece front spoiler spray painted from clint, he also is spraying the front bumper bar and coulor codeing the front grille. Also i have purchased brand new roof linning and brand new carpet for the beast. 4 point racing harnesses has also been bought for the front 2 seats. She sould be ready for the Valla GT weekend.....HOPEING
