Mine is a 2003 Zetec with MP3 wheels, and came with Goodyear Eagle F1's from Ford, and I found them really good. Very good grip, and not a lot of noise.

I have now replaced two of them with the current Goodyear F1 profile.

That is the only problem...the original tread pattern is no longer available, so if you damage one, you really need to at least replace a pair

Yep Goodyear F1s - think they may have actually been fitted to every focus regardless of rim size?

Can't recall Photn. Mick k's quote seems about right. Maybe I paid about $220?? I always just go to my local Bob Jane. I tend not to shop around too much on tyres, as Bob Jane Moorabbin has looked after me for years. There only ever seems to be a few dollars in it, and they've always done a good job on balancing and aligning. Get that wrong, and a cheap tyre becomes very expensive

if anyone is in Sydney i can highly recommend Spinning Wheels down in Woolloomoloo (sp?) the guys down there are fantastic. it's a little bit more expensive, but they've been doing our cars for years and we have always been given the best advice possible.

haha...womolo....AOE3

Woolloomoloo is in the City...and I mean right in the City. pita to get to.

I have the original tires on my 16's, NCT's not the best tyre for racing, but for a daily driver they go fine.
