After getting a full detail done on my AU1 Fairmont V8 the central locking doesn't work from both remotes and the car won't start just the exclamation mark ticks on. I've done a search and tried a few tricks but still nothing. So what i'm asking is what would cause the door locks not to work after a high pressure engine clean and interior shampoo because I think the immobiliser has been affected causing the car to not start.
BTW there was a lot of condensation underbonnet as well as in the car around the ignition barrel after being locked overnight. Thanks in advance You Yangs

try reteaching the remote to the BCM (3 times demister, hit lock and let lock unlock cycle twice and remote is retrained), go from there
