Default Help, Car won't start after Engine clean

After getting a full detail done on my AU1 Fairmont V8 the central locking doesn't work from both remotes and the car won't start just the exclamation mark ticks on. I've done a search and tried a few tricks but still nothing. So what i'm asking is what would cause the door locks not to work after a high pressure engine clean and interior shampoo because I think the immobiliser has been affected causing the car to not start.
BTW there was a lot of condensation underbonnet as well as in the car around the ignition barrel after being locked overnight.
Thanks in advance
You Yangs

Sounds like a problem with Smartlock/shield. Try putting the key in the ignition and leaving it there for around one hour in the On/Run position (ie the position the key is in after it starts normally - one past accessories). This used to work in E series, but not sure about AUs.

try reteaching the remote to the BCM (3 times demister, hit lock and let lock unlock cycle twice and remote is retrained), go from there

The detailer did the interior clean late in the afternoon so it didn't have time to dry properly before I locked it up overnight, so when I came out in the morning the windows were all fogged up and like I said the steel part of the ignition barrel had condensation on it. I'm no closer to finding the problem but I may just ring the NRMA and get them to find the cause. Bit reluctant using them over Easter when they are probably busy and I could just wait till Tuesday.

As 747 said I would be checking all the relevant fuses and relays first . sounds like something got water logged..

Would a good spray of WD40 on the relays under the bonnet help here?
