Cruise to FDC

Our next cruise wil be on Sunday June 3, we will be cruising down to the Ford Discovery Centre.

The Ford Discovery Centre and Ford Gift Shop is open between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Wednesday to Monday
Admission Prices

Adults $9.00
Children (4-17 years) $4.00
Concessions $6.00
Family (2A + 4C) $25.00
Groups (15 or more) $5.50

The Ford Discovery Centre is located on the corner of Brougham and Gheringhap Streets in Geelong, directly over the road from where Ford first started its operations in Australia in 1925.

Located in the heart of Geelong’s vibrant Waterfront Precinct the Ford Discovery Centre is about an hour’s drive south west of Melbourne

PARKINGOn street Parking is available around the Centre with Disabled Parking for visitors and ramp access at front of the building.

Meeting point 1 will be at the 7-11 service centre inbound on the Western Ring Road, meeting 9:30am & departing at 9:45am.

Meeting point 2 (if required) will be at the BP service centre on the Princes FWY from around 10:10am & departing 10mins after we arrive.

we should arrive at the discovery centre around 11am, after we have finished we will head off for some food before returning home.

if people have any suggestion for places to eat feel free to list them.

if you have a 2 way radio make sure you bring it along & if you don't try to get 1, they are reasonably priced & make it possable for those on the cruise to communicate with you should the need arise.

I'm not sure who has the stickers, but could can I get a Matte Black ORSM FORD CRUSIERS sticker for the windscreen, If they could bring it on Sunday would be great. If not ill grab one next time.

I think we are currently out of stock of those. My idea, and they have proven very popular. I will speak to Marty, see where we are at for more.

There is a nice group of shops along the promenade, but parking could be a problem, gets busy.

May I suggest the Leopold Sportsman Club.

It has a huge bitchamen carpark and the food is great. I picked up a group one time from there and it looked good. It is only up the road from Geelong.

I'm happy to go anywhere aslong I don't have to park my car far away.
