Ban U Turns at Intersections in Mexico (Vic)

I am a Mexican and I think U Turns should be banned at Intersections except where signage permits.

I am sick and tired of Richard Craniums making u Turns and not giving away plus it holds up right turning traffic.

Ours is even better - every intersection is U turn permitted, unless it specifically says it's not

I'm a fan of U-turns at lights, every other state has it wrong

Hi. They just need to educate people that if you are doing a U turn that you GIVE WAY TO ALL other traffic. Cheers MD

Exactly. Inclusive of the traffic turning left from the side street into the main road that you're U turning on.

Apart from that, nothing wrong with U turns at intersections.

Except up here fifty percent of the drivers turn the steering wheel to the left thinking they havent got enough room to u turn.
Theres always a ton of room -no confidence.
As they turn the steering wheel to the left they encroach on the straight ahead lane to their left -whew missed that one.

In CW NSW, they can’t even compete a right-hand turn, without jinking left first!
(Usually when I’m passing them (legally) on the inside)

But Kevino, Their driving massive big trucks mate, haven't ya noticed they can't even stay in between the lines cause it's so F**kin huge it just doesn't fit.


How I use to drive a 13.5 meter bus (under permit) in Queensland without hitting anybody will always amaze me, the tail swing on that thing was amazingly scary. Now it's up in Emerald as a school bus, not too much to hit up there.

Yeah I used to drive 14 pallet rigids round SEQ
Great fun in New Farm Fortitude Valley Spring Hill etc etc

At the tail end of my job on a Monday I was delivering consumer goods in a van to Sunnybank shopping centre

Mains Rd was chronic with all the ex CCP migrants wandering all over the road and chaos in the shop centre car park - I found that the worst area in Bris for white line lane breaking and wander

Be careful what you wish for. You ban U turns at lights, and they'll start doing it in the middle of flowing traffic where there are no intersections. Have seen this happen time and time again, where people miss a turn, then stop traffic so they can do a U turn from the LEFT lane.

And they seem to be from places where they've been desensitised to being horned at
