I have gone from owning this:
To this: I sold the ute due to loosing my job (which finishes in 2 weeks yay) and going back to uni next year. The bike is so much cheaper to insure, register and run. |

Yes I am pretty cautious about when I ride on the road. I have been riding dirt bikes for years and it is scary going from dirt to road cause all you worry about on dirt is rocks, other riders, animals and holes where as on the road you have to worry about all these things plus cars, trucks and buses.

The bike is a 2005 Aprilia RS 125 Casey Stoner special edition. Just a little 125cc 2 stroke! Some people didn't beleive me that they made 125cc.
The dog is a 3 year old Bullmastiff terrorist. Eats everything and at the moment sits so close to the heater that no heat gets past him and into the house.

How many ks on the bike? I hope you don't mind re-building two strokes. Most will get about 7500kms before they need it.
Having said that, the Aprilia 125 and 250 are weapons!! Amazing handling and the only decent sportsbike under 600cc that you will find. |

These 2 strokes absolutely hammer....

Haha yea the dog is pretty slow off the mark.
I highly doubt that the 125 would beat a CBR 1000 off the line. But maybe your mate has the RS 250 and apperantly they are pretty damn quick! The bike has done 818kms when I bought it and it has done about 950 now. Shouldn't need a rebuild for a while. Thanks for all the positive replies!

Nice bike, gotta love that 2 stroke goodness. I'd love to have a 2 stroke roady, but for the time being I'll stick to dirt.

Very nice Aprilia.
I want to get my butt into gear at some stage and actually get myself a bike licence and a similar bike to that. Won't be for everyday, but it would get used a few times a week for quick run arounds down to friend's places etc, and the odd cruise ride

The dog doesn't go compared to the XR8...But the dog's not ugly. He is cool! Just a bit of a doofus (especially in that photo).
I would like a RS250 for my next bike, I was thinking about getting one of them first but apprently they are pretty fast for a learner rider. I only just got my motorbike L's 1 month ago but I have been riding dirt bikes for years. One day I will get myself an Aprilia RSV mille, they are damn nice bikes. As I said before I would like to get a RS250 next and then a Yamaha R6 and then the RSV Mille. Well I can dream about it anyhow!
