Default AU-First Service

People,
Thanks for the replies on which oil to use.
Now are there any tips or tricks of the trade when it comes to doing services on an AU.
This weekend I will do oil & filter, fuel filter, possibly air cleaner and coolant.
Car has 140,000 kms.
Also the idle is a tad rougher than Id like as well.
All replies welcome.
Cheers,
Snoz

auto trans service as well ... no dipstick for this on the AU .... bolt for filling is halfway up the side of the geabox on the driver's side ... next to the exhaust (lovely).

Keep filling till it pours out ... go back and forward in the driveway a few times for the fluid to go through the 'box ... re fill till overflowing.

Also filter needs replacing inside the gearbox ... just under the bottom pan.

DON'T USE Dextron III or whatever the standard ATF is .... you need 95LE for it.

NOTE: ... this is for the autos ... hee hee
