Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the side mirrors on the WQ Fiesta were the same as the LT Focus, take away the indicators? Or maybe it was the old Mondeo? I know someone who put the LT Focus side mirrors on his Fiesta and they fit perfectly?

Correct, the Focus and WQ Fiesta mirrors are the same ... unfortunately to buy the Focus ones apparantly costs a heap of cash!

There was a thread somewhere a while back when someone was looking into doing this but from memory the cost was way too much.

correct. you can get the early model XR5T side mirrors. unfortunately youll have to buy the whole assembly not just the covers and the indicators.

cost about 250+ each side.

the wiring can be moved from the side indicator to the top for the mirror. it can also be lengthened quite easily if you need to splice it.

its nothing to hard to do, all quite easy.
