Default Cut the in-talk and in-jokes

I reckon SpoolMan's gunna lecture me for this thread, but I'm getting sick of in-talking and in-joking junk posts.

If you got something to say just say it, don't hide it and say it so it's clear and precise. If you want something to be a secret then don't mention it to anyone and just post when you've completed it.

Also, if you want to lie about selling your car or doing something to it (I'm guilty of this one from a while ago) then make sure after you've said it you clarify it if a thread goes off the rails. Too many goose threads.

You could just about call this place Riddle Series Section.

But then half the E-Series forum won't be able to make out they're cool for sharing inside jokes :(

i agree, it just causes more b1tching and bickering between everyone. If you dont want people to know about it, you dont hint at it in any way.

Shaun, how did you think people would have reacted when you said you sold the red eb. Even though it wasnt true, look at the result of at, at least 9 posts regarding it. It just makes people not in the know feel left out of the group.

I'm not pointing the finger at anyone, just saying what everyone else is thinking.
a lot of people will complain about someone having in jokes etc on the forums, when they've done exactly that in the past.

this thread has merit, no one wants to see 6 posts in a row refering to a joke that only 3 ppl are in on.
thats why we use MSN or have signitures.

Hmmm I think he means that some of your threads lately have been rather...well...random and nothing to do with e series (but your not alone).

One thing that drives me insane, and others are guilty of it in other "clubs", but just because you are an e series member, doesn't mean that you can only look/post in the e series section.

I know what you mean John, but I if you get around being such a wordsmith your post may make a bit more sense to me.

So I'm guessing you're talking about me being a hypocrite, but I will accept that because I've mentioned it up in the first post of this thread. Then I'm going to say that most people know what I'm on about anyway because I make it so clear.

Y'all know me to be straight forward.

There has alway been in-talk and in-jokes ever since I joined Ford Forums, its like a chat site with benefits, although I get my fair share of stirring up these same people help out with other issues with my car, you have to take the good with the bad.

There is also always the threads were one person disagrees with something and all his mates who are online disagree just to stir. All in Fun!

LOL...

But its either that or:

A) ignore the person, and dont respond to their posts - hardly anyone does the latter

B) Dont be a grumpy little man and get over it

I'd like to publically apologise to the E-Series community for being a smack tard sometimes.

I like to have fun, I like a bit of gentle ribbing and stirring, I like a good controversy but I think I'm only doing it lately to get away from the realities of my everyday life. My missus is 6 months in and I haven't been able to track down a baby seat. It gets depressing sometimes.
