Default AU Diff Change

Hey,

I'm just wondering how to go about getting a 3:45 LSD fitted to my series 1 fairmont. Right now it has 3:23 gears and I believe its a single spinner. By upgrading the diff do I need the whole assembly or just the gears? And will whoever fits it be able to calibrate my speedo and keep everything working as is (such as cruise control)

cheers.

You could increase the dia of the tyres to help keep the speedo "near" correct... but lose some of the acceleration gain from the higher ratio.
Is this to gain lsd or better acceleration?

Its a bit of both actually. Acceleration and gaining LSD. I don't like the idea of still having the old single spinning diff, I want to upgrade it !
