I don't mind the front at all. It has an alfa romeo/jag xk style grill happening there. It looks mean from the front but is just a smooth surface at the rear - no character.

The wheels look like Porsche wheels and aren't big enough.

The rear...It is so ugly! GET RID OF THAT COVER!

I think the look will grow on people with time. Same with the new Impreza's look.

The one in the vid looks like the Concept X. It's mostly the same, but there have been a few subtle styling changes since then.

These are closer to production ready

What rock have you guys been living under, the production shots of the new production Evo (not the concept) have been out for quite a while

Looks really good, should do well against the poorly designed next gen WRX

I think they have their stuff sorted now though. Most of the reliability issues were in the early 90s. They had a pretty sound run with the Magnas and Pajeros from 99 onwards, hopefully the new lancer will be the same.

I generally havent heard many complaints on reliability from the recent Evo models.

As for the competition, make up your own mind: (New WRX)

The STi model hasn't even released yet guys and they say substantial changes over the WRX! Hopefully it won't disappoint.

It's like picking the ugliest sister from identical twins to IMO. I'll be keeping my WRX for a while yet anyway so doesn't really matter to me!

The front is like a poor copy from an Audi or something.
And theres so much going on I think they are just trying too hard now. The back is pretty weak too imo.

Dave-au those red Mistu shots look absolutley great - is that the $60K version or the new $40K version???

I will have a tough time choosing between an Orion XR6T ute and the $40K EVO next year...(it was definatly going to be the new Rex until I saw what it looked like)

1 x Evo for me, the Rexy's have looked average since bug eye, but this latest one takes the cake, makes me think of a camry!

Yeah that is the Evo version.

As for the GSR - no one is quite sure yet, it might even just appear very similiar to the Lancer VRX equivalent version, which doesnt look bad either.

Yeah that looks good. Either way better than the hideous new Rex which looks like a last generation Camry Sportivo with a bonnet scoop...

Yep the EVO X on the left in that clip is the production model. It as well as the new Nissan GT-R EVO are probably the only 2 Jap cars that i would ever consider purchasing. The new STi is a shocker!

honestly, I like the concept car more, its so far ahead of it's time it would really push other manufacturers to pull there fingers out and be more bold in designs.
The road going version isn't too bad at all.

STi hasn't been launched yet dude. WRX and STi = two different cars.

But the GT-R will be king again soon. Faster than a Porsche apparently.

Styling is still the same except for a big *** shopping trolley wing! That WRX looks like the last model camry and kia rio. They got to be joking!

I like lancer hatch model concept they had at the motor show. Look a lot different to the standard lancer or EVO for that matter. I'll post photo up soon of it!

New wrx (blue one) looks bloody terrible, where as that evo x looks like sex on wheels. Not much for turbo 4's but when they are starting to look like that, and drive like they do, go like they do its hard to not want one!
