Hi guys n girls good old ebay gotta love em .
Just receved my xc - xd cast iron head 6 cylinder electronic distributor, add states obviously to fit xc-xd cast iron head only not alloy head , so I pull out my old one & go to put in new one only to see that its about 15mm taller than the old one that only just fits the dizzy cap on under the inlet manifold its a pain in the rump, so obviously the new one wont fit , so I email the sender with my findings & he said " Ive sold lots of them & am finding this problem on later model xd's"............ Mine is a 1/80 xd wagon with a JG23 engine number witch I believe denotes xc falcon 500 sedan, what a croc of $h!t he should state in the add that it only suits the dizzy with the longer shaft or some thing to that affect so you can at least check your old one! That said at least he is willing to refund the money after I send back the old one at my expence of course.

Yes ask questions. I nearly bought some pacemakers that the guy told me were a certain model (after I asked of course). Only after asking one last question which car they came off. Turns out not that model.
