Default heater demister 2011 fiesta

hi new to your site
the demister for the front screen has no air flow no matter what setting the centre dash controller is set at.
does anyone know whats wrong

Sounds like a broken cable.
The cable that controls the shutter to deflect air flow.

the demister fixed
on the left hand side behind the glove box is a cam wheel that controls the internal doors for air direction, on mine the demister door lever was out of its pivot arm at the cam wheel end and pivot end
after removing air recirculation motor and the loosening the screw on the cam wheel, with the aid of a straighten out coat hanger I managed to get the demister lever re-engaged with the pivot lever and got the cam wheel and the peg on the pivot arm re-engaged and it all works as ford intended
