Default 1st FG FPV Confiscated

Well I believe this is a first. Especially for around here, Orange has only had a handful of cars confiscated. This guy must be ****ed now. You play you pay

I was down at the supermarket when it happened, was inside and could just hear it all, by the time I left, the car was gone. Then I see this in the paper this morning. lol

http://www.centralwesterndaily.com.a...s/1588576.aspx

P.S - The lines in the woolworths carpark are impressive to say the least.

In other news, lot of people are getting caught using Radar Detector's aswell.

Looks like a BA/BF to me. FG doesnt have door moulds. His effort is nearly as good as the clown doing doughies infront of the police station up here

They also appear to be BA wheels.

Burnout car is a BA the other is a FG (radar article)

I love this bit in the radar article - second link.

"Snr Const Bush said many drivers were also unaware that it is illegal to be caught buying or storing a detector in a vehicle."

Really? illegal???? are you sure officer???

Don't think people need to bring them in from overseas when they are legal in WA and easily purchased in Australia.

It shows the true governement mind set.

Possession of a radar detector is a far greater crime that 30km/h over the limit in a school zone at 3pm or running a red light or not wearing a seat belt or not putting your baby in a capsule AND doing burnouts in an empty car park at night is a greater crime than drink driving or driving under the influence of a drug or driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

And they wonder why there is so much contempt for them and their laws.....

Australian LAW:

Kill someone or steal money from a private organisation and they will try and look for you if it is not too hard and they have some spare time between speed camera duties.

Interfere with potential government revenue and they will hunt you until the end of the universe......

Yep can still use them in WA. Won't be long before they ban them here but the point of speed cameras is to slow people down right when it beeps people slow down isnt that the whole point. As for burnouts everyone knows you have to be stupid to do anything like that now on the streets.

Actually I'm quite friendly with some of the higher ups in the traffic branch and some of their subordinates here. They don't mind the ribbing when we banter, so I don't see why they would be offended by what is obviously a bit of fun.

Nice pic, which one is me?

They may, but one member post that and then the bandwagon is on and the thread turns to rubbish and ends up closed.

You are in the second column, third row back.

LOL I love how the inspector goes "its 9 points off your license for having a radar detector, all you need is one speeding fine and you license is gone"

Stupid ***. What do you think the chances of getting a speeding fine are if you have a radar detector? DUH.

haha that is in october when its half warm over there.. You probably couldnt even open your car doors when it's cold because they would probably be frozen shut.

I even had to play footy in the snow at Orange once. Wasn't the best experience!

I like it how is a devise that alerts a driver that there speed is being checked by the government is deemed to be illegal ??? The thing isn't Stopping the use of speed measuring equipment it don't tamper with it's accuracy.

So you're suggesting that a device that alerts a driver that allows him to slow from infinity to the legal limit is a good thing?

Given the speed that have been clocked by morons and reported on the road recently, would you be happy with motorists driving at 120kph past your child's school where no police were policing?
