To bad you have place your order with the headers Steve, same 1 as Ford racing by the looks of things.

Would the rear chassis subframe be the same as the stock standard Focus at all?
And I want the speedo as well, ECU and computer.
I need to know who wants what?

No, that's cool. The headers from the ST170 won't fit directly. Ford Racing modify's these headers to then fit the Zetec head. So I am cool with that.

OK. Here's the post that will shoot the dreams of many and answer a few questions for others. I went and viewed this car this morning to see what's included and verify the condition. I placed a bid on this car last night without realising you guys had found it! I am going to be taking the following items should the auction be won. Remember there are still 3 days to go, so there's no knowing what the price might end up at. I don't have a limitless budget.

We have to do this to avoid the mass confusion this is alrerady becoming! Pretty exciting stuff I know, but there's only one proper way to do this. To buy the car, we need committments from people up front with a promise to have the cash IMMEDIATELY up front. I can't/won't bank roll this purchase for anyone.

I will be taking the following items should the auction be won at a decent price. If it gets too much, some of the items will also be up for grabs (namely seats and door trims, they're my lowest priority):

Seats front and rear
Wheels and tyres
6 Stack CD player
Door trims and rear quarter panel trims (inside)
Trim around the gearshift boot including Stability control button
Foot Pedals

The gearbox, clutch and flywheel will probably be sold to Darren Best for his ST170 race car but is to be confirmed. Without SERIOUS mods I don't believe it will fit any other model so don't worry if you don't already have an ST170, not worth the hassle. Darren will also be offered the brakes including discs and pads.

The engine is not included by the buyer.

Ancillaries such as alternators and things are however I will be offering those to Darren for his race car again most probably, if he refuses then they're up for grabs. The car was a head on with a pole, which entered between the engine block and the left suspension, almost missed the car, but it has destroyed very little of the mechanicals of the car surprisingly. The spare was actually fitted at the time of the accident (due to a flat tyre), so even the left front wheel is OK! May well have contributed to the accident...

FRA has indicated he wants to take the bodyshell and dash cluster, ECU/ computer if some/all are available which I believe they are.

Beyond that, the following items are of use to some people and are available

Rear tail lights
Side indicator lenses
Suspension including shocks and springs (Melbzetec has indicated he would like these)
Exhaust
Headers

Please PM me with any items you are keen on, and not something you're interested in but something you WILL TAKE if given the opportunity and more importantly, can pay for immediately with cash.

If this turns into a fight or nobody will support their request with a guarantee that they will actually pay for the part, I'm walking away from it. I want everyone to be happy, we won't all get what we want but it's first in best dressed and those who pay up will have precedence over those who don't.

k im up for the brakes and possibly exhaust..

whats the process of pricing everything.

my idea...

If zetec is going to physically take it?

We organise each part as a percentage. and take the percentage of the final amount?
The final amount could be the ebay price + a fee to zetec for all his hard work.. ? maybe 250-500? (up to you ultimately)
Plus P&H.. this would include postage costs.. plus what zetec wants to charge for sending it?

Sydney guys hopefully we can split the postage cost?

umm say for my brakes 5-15%? if the final price is 5000..
would be bout 250-750 bucks?

Maybe agree upon a limit/budget?

and of course bid at the last minute.. true ebay style

Please comment !!

I think PM is the best place to discuss pricing, let's not discuss pricing here on the public forum whilst the auction is open, lest someone work it out and just ovebid us at the last minute. That's netiher fair on us nor on the seller since it would be fairer on the seller that it remain truly compeititve.

All price strictly discussedi n private via PM, but simonr's idea of paying for a portion of the car is the system I am working to, loosely based. I will work to a seats/wheels/brakes/shell/transmission sort of basis, the rest we'll just sell afterwards but as long as we have the cash for the main parts, we can bid with more confidence. Don't want 15 verbal confirmations before placing a huge bid only to realise half the people can't actually pay for it. As I said, I am completely walking away from this if I'm not comfortable, in respect to both the buyer and myself.
