Default Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear) Vs Unbreakable Toyota Hilux

Jeremy Clarkson goes about trying to test Toyota's "unbreakable" claim in a clapped out hilux

Clip is 16 min long but is worth it, pure gold. (Guess cable only)

Taken from a thread at AMC

yeah! go top gear,

my hilux gets treatment like that, hahaha and it just ИИИИess coolant ha yesterday i didnt want to go around this huge hill/garden bed to get into vidieo ezy carpark so i just took a huge run up and flew up the hill, the car came down hard on the sump on a box curb haha and rolled to a stop in a park right outside the door, no leaks,

i might send a pic of the front end (still has cat hairs and a peice of letterbox sticking out of the bumper and indicator light) but i dont wanna go on another ford forum 'holiday' so if a picture pops up of this car.. umm..its not mine

You sound like a very well educated driver who abides by all the road rules, not to mention common sense. NOT!!!!

As for the Hilux - wow!

Thats the best kind of advertising you could ever do. With the exception of one old toyota, every old toyota i've come across has been brilliant.

There was something about seeing a caravan drop on the car (and the fantastic end of the clip!) that tickled my funnny bone.

I've only got into Top Gear in the last month or so, and think its absolutely brilliant.

The piece a couple of weeks ago where they had to buy a Porsche for 1,500 pounds, drive it, race it, do it up and then sell it again was hilarious.

Quick question - how can I save the clips on the Top Gear website to my hard drive for viewing later?

Amazing, They drive it into a tree, sink it in the ocean, drop it from a crane, drop a caravan on it, hit it with a demolision ball, set fire to it and then they put it on a 20 story building that gets imploded and they can still drive it away.... a little worse for wear tho......

Unbreakable,,, true....

Love it

Your right though, hit a speed hump faster than 30ks in the Territory and all hell breaks loose.

Anyone got the whole series of top gear?

That was hilarious. Toyota can really take the unbreakable title that they use on their ads now.

Unbreakable Hilux is an understatement, those things are truely unreal. No wonder their the preffered transport of the AL-QUAIDA malitia.
