My missus has a 95 festiva, just changed the wheel bearings and cv's but still gettin the F*#ked bearing noise on drivers side, does anyone know if it could be something else? or did i get the one in a million dodgy bearing?

Front or rear bearings?
Rears are very weak... did mine every 50,000km or there abouts. Fronts were still factory at 200,000km.

are the rear bearings single or double each side? and could it be the brakes maybe?

Hmmm now you are stretching my memory, been 4 years since I changed one.
Single. Tapered bearings around 2 inches in diameter. Pretty cheap as well. Used to use a brand that started with the letter T. Grey are orange box?? Tenken or something?

figured it out finally, driver side front brake caliper was missing the clip that holds the top of the pads off the disc. thanks for the help! will change rear bearings anyways i think
