Don't you love making things or installing things yourself! It's the most rewarding part of modifying a car, I reckon. Good job. I assume you will keep us posted on the progress, and if there's any kw gain to be had.

ive gone from 350km to about 400km from 62ltrs, work and fun driving. Just gotta pull my finger out to finish the box.

Looking good there. I do this type of stuff everyday. Using Fibreglass, carbon fibre and kevlar to make stuff. It is rewarding. Keep us updated Qwik.

im thinking of making the maf to 4" adaptors, ill see whan its all finished. The box is just a 1 off for me.

if you look in the second pic on the top, you can see a hole near the end of the filter that is for headlight access. Im going to duct it from there, and from half the grille too by taking out a little plastic divider.
