the dredded speed limiter!, my old EB 5.0l Turbo did a flat 14 @ 94mph, i hit 94mph in about 7 to 8 secs then held that over the line.
that was with the stock ECU, i didn't have the funds to get it tuned and was before J3 chips

90 mph isn't speed limiter. Speed limiter is at 180kmh in a AU which is 111mph.

Different models have different limits, not sure what the XR limit is but it's over 220 kph .

Question is that is it possible to do that time with such a low mph?

I do not know any details of the car and was trying to work out if it was gutted?

I ll take a guess and say he hit the nos half way down the track.that mileage is only good enough for high 14s.

I haven't tested the limits of my XR's but my AU2 XR8 ute was limited to 180 as i found out on the track (SMP) and google told me my AU1 XR8 sedan was limited to 180km but I never found out thats too fast to test in reality.
200-220kw AU's prob had higher

as previously said my EB 5.0 turbo did a 14.1 @ 94mph but it had traction issues too, so sticky tyres and some experience a high 13 @ 9?mph would be achievable.

To add 2 cents, TL50s are speed-limited to 180 km/h as well.

Yes, long wheelbase model, based on the Fairlane. I had the 180 km/h limit shown to me firsthand!

My au2 xr8 ute was limited to 180, I never found the limit on my au1 xr6 but it was doing about 250 next to a mates clubsport. As did my ebxr8 and all 3 of these cars had single piece alloy shafts.
