Question Old rear window louvers .. ?

I was just wondering if anyone has seen the old style louvers for INSIDE the car on the rear window , they were like the old white horizontal blinds for inside the house but smaller blades & were black , I'm not on about the old black plastic ones that went on the outside of the rear window. I would love one of these for the rear window inside my xr. They were great , on hot day when parked u could close them right off like normal blinds .

?????????????????

If i cant find any then it looks like ill have to make some , maybe make them electronic too for the opening and closing of them :thebirds:

Erm, those things look so 70's, if i was youd id go buy a window shade kit out of the territory and give that a go, those blindes look like ИИИИ and if i can recall that far in life they also rattle and annoy the ИИИИ out of rear seat passengers. Unless you from the 50's era you should probarly give them a pass.

I have seen one of these ,on a ef xr6. You have to look very hard to see it behind tinted glass.

well i got a tonn of spare 3mm nbf sheet out in the garage , i might have to have a bit of an experiment around , i'll cut a tonn of strips the same curved profile as on the inside of the rear window , about 20mm wide each max and full length of back window long , they would come up quiet well i think for the blades , cleaned up and painted black , nice and light but strong too that nbf , + would also stop the 'tinish' rattle u used to get from the metal blades , i got a few servo controls from remote control stuff here - so i might see if i can rig a small servo up to do the tilt action for them..
...lol .. i might just give this a go i think.
