The design of the side mirror on the passengers side has design faults. On my car it can show the tops of approaching vehicles or helicopters or clouds. But I thought it would be useful if the kerb was visible when parking, so tried to take it apart. Not obvious but the plastic cover facing front clips on and is secured with a screw underneath. No way to change the mirror direction down except to fix another piece of mirror on top.

If you want a cheap way around the problem, those little circular convex mirrors are a cheap add-on. I would suggest EB mirrors but I am not sure if they were available in non-electric form. It's certainly a better design and reduces wind noise but a very noticable margin at highway speeds. The EA ones were cheaply adapted from the XF mirrors which is why they are a bit below par.

i think for remory that the eb series 1 mirrors are non electric an a set will bolt on obviously

While we're on it, can EF mirrors fit an ED door? Theyre essentially the same door, are they not?

eb series 1 are electric mirrors still

I noticed this too, but pushed on the actual mirror instead to get it into a prime position..

Realize why the mirror angles are wrong.
The driver should be sitting in the passenger seat. |
