Default What happened to that myford website?

I heard that there's a site called myford where you put in your engine number and it tells you everything about your exact car?

I just get taken to the ford website though when I try to go to it.

This has been their comment abut myford for ages:

The MyFord website is currently unavailable as we are reviewing the site in order to better meet our customer's needs.
In the meantime, all registered MyFord members will continue to be kept up-to-date with the latest news from Ford by email with Ford e-News. You can also read the latest information about Ford and learn more about products and services available for Ford customer's by clicking here.
2007 will see the launch of the new MyFord website and existing MyFord members will be amongst the first to hear of the website's arrival. We understand that you want to hear from Ford and we invite you in the interim to register.
If you are not already a registered MyFord member, or if you are registered and your email address or details have changed, then just click here to update and register to join us!

I had just created my car's profile in there when they took it down. That was about two years ago, I think. It was due open again about six months later and then they kept pushing it back and who knows now. I think they have more important priorities these days, such as selling their cars.

I registered on there, but I think because my car is ex Govt. I was unable to get any info on it, other than what I entered.

Silly boy. This was a free 'customer service'. Organising long lunches is far more important!
