Default sr3900 1990 advice on paint repair

Im appealing to collectors - the reason i bought the car in the first place years ago & nursed it since - my car was keyed the other day - do i respray patch or dont touch - to maintain a collectors interest when i am ready to sell - its not deep - but it is white not red (the scratch)
