Default New movie - Death Race

First we there was tough Ford in Mad Max, that was followed by tough pretty ford in Gone in 60 Seconds, then a ricers wet dream with the new Knight Rider, BUT now comes a tough fast back with miniguns, Roche 5.4 850bhp and Ford Racing supercharger.

This movie is a combination of Mad Max, Rollerball, Escape from LA and Running Man in one.

EDIT: "this is a no holds barred, testosterone fueled thrill ride. Think of the game Twisted Metal, then throw in convicts, a greedy warden looking only at the profit and you have Death Race."

Here is the trailer

I take it this is a remake of the old movie Death Race 2000, which also became the inspiration for the Carmageddon computer games. It looks great.

This so reminds me of Carmageddon TDR 2000, it was an underrated game that had a few vehicles off Mad Max in it.

Your quite correct, there torrents or try http://www.watch-movies.net/ and if you use Firefox get a plugin called DownloadHelper. It allows you to save files with a FLV (youtube, etc) extension.

As soon as I saw "Death Race" I thought of Carmageddon. That was definitely my favourite game of all time. Absolutely loved it, and I reckon this movie would be good too.

The original version of Carmageddon could never be played on 3dfx if that's what you mean. As hard as I tried I could never get it to work in hi-res on DOS. Splat pack came out with 3dfx ability and it was awesome! 9x kill combos rocked when taking out 9 sheep LOL!

I've got the Splat Pack and merged Carmageddon all into the one program (since both were seperate). Mine's the windows version, and I managed to get it into hi-res mode. All I had to do was create a shortcut, and in the properties, put a -hires at the end of the target line. Awesome!
