will ef/el i6 thermos fit onto eb v8 or are the v8 ones different?

They go straight in, you will just need to wire them up correclty.
Mine is using a variable switch and I think a copper temp sensor(?) into the top radiator house. You can adjust when it comes on and at what temperate, I just set it properly this weekend. |

thanks guys,my clutch fan is not working at higher speeds so a good excuse to fit thermos

Well if you choose thermos over a replacement clutchfan, make sure you get the top hose to seal properly after the thermoswitch copper capillary tube has been inserted into it. I used two hose clamps for mine and squeezed the bejesus out of the hose (by using a socket to tighten the clamps, rather than a screwdriver), leaving a 5mm gap between the two hose clamps. It's the hobo way :P

If I still had my clutchfan I'd stick a flap of cardboard in it so my car sounded like a harley.
And I'd buy pimp wire rims & put spokey dokeys on them. This is my crap post for the day. |

when i say higher speeds i mean the clutch isnt working.it should be harder to turn over by hand when its hot and mine isnt
