AFF Coffee/Dinner Get Together

Hi Guy's n Girl's,
When COVID first hit our shores i said "when COVID is over id like to meet some of the people that puts posts on this forum and maybe we could have a dinner and a chat a group of us.

Well it looks like COVID is hear to stay but i am still keen on this dinner meeting.
I know a lot of you are from all over Australia and a lot of you are from Victoria.
I am happy to drive to Albury which would have to be a Saturday and maybe we could go to a local restaurant and just have a laugh and a good chat.

Id like to hear from some of you and what you think about this idea?
Maybe we can get the Ball Rolling on this idea.

It wound be nice if there was some way genuinely interested people could anonymously put their location on a shared map; like a Vennn diagram the most logical convening point would be shown up.

Hi Guy's
This would be good if we could get this up and running before the end of this year?
The reason I said Id travel to Albury is because of those people traveling from Victoria. They have to travel so should i its only fair i should also.

If you really want to have it in Goulburn theres a great Club here or it could be in Sydney?
If we do get organize it may be it could be a yearly thing? i mentioned it to my wife and she said " it sounds like a good idea and i dont mind if have to travel and your away one night". I got the green light lets do it quick before she changes her mind.

If it’s still trading, the Henty pub is about halfway between Sydney and Melbourne in driving time.

I would suggest not putting an event too far into the future, there will be no-shows at any level of preparedness.

What about 28th May? (Henty or elsewhere)

That would make it difficult for anyone travelling any distance.

A lunch would probably better.

As a few members have said to me " A Lunch may be better".
if you want to make it a lunch thats ok with me also all i need is some notice and of course the place you want to meet up at.
