Haven't been to the drags in some time (I prefer circuits), but some friends convinced me to come along, hit up WSID.
Got a 12.721 @ 112 in the GT-P. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXKNr5-lzdg

Top work. |

As above, mods (the main ones) are listed there too.

I'm surprised really, spent so much effort and $ getting it set up for circuit, figured it wouldn't put the power down so well.

Very good 60' time, and great e.t.
Did you weigh the car at all?

No, essentially it's a full weight GT-P. no spare in the boot, but I've got one or two, and there's some extra stereo gear in it too, maybe that's offset by the carbon bonnet.
But in short, no don't know how much it weighs.

Great time. I noticed you run adjustable teins, did you soften them right off to try and get some weight transfer? Lovely looking GT-P by the way

prasac, no worries, $200 for fuel and I'm there
It's a JVC HD camcorder on a 'camzilla' suction mount. I went for a SD card camcorder so there's no moving parts (previous tape based camcorder would fail on a hard launch). I need to set it up better, some of the other footage is focused on the wrong part. Grippy, yes went full soft on the back, and full hard up front. It got me into the 1.9 60's, prior couldn't get below a 2.0. Probably would be better again, if I hadn't chosen the heavy duty springs.

tyres/tyre pressures are soooooo critical, if you want better times especially on a street car. |

I've had it out on summer days (40+ ambient) around Oran Park, no problems. Engine Oil cooler is more important, keeping that down, and keeping the water temp down, of course keeps the trans temp in check.
