I like THIS description of Slayer from one of Rollins spoken word performances, when I saw Rollins do a spoken word once he said Slayer were the only band that he never had out of his cars CD stacker as they were perfect for angry driving. |

the song is ok. it has its moments... but typical slayer... singing crap about religion...
also, Metallica played a NEW SONG live on the 6/6/06... it can be found on www.blabbermouth.net somewhere, or all over the net by now... if ...and justice for all and st anger had a bastard love child, it would probably be this song... its better than the stuff on st anger, but i hope it improves a great deal before the album, because it is nothing flash...

Slayer is easly one of the best metal bands ever. How good is Show No Mercy for a first album. Through out all there albums they have managed to keep the speed fast.

im hoping it'll be much better studio recorded... but it drags on a bit like the songs did on st. anger. just gave it another few listens and forget that bit about and justice for all : its more like the heavy song that was supposed to go on load.

Metallica song from Berlin wasn't that bad. Intro was good but as Henri mentioned it just dragged on.

The first time I ever saw them, when they came out to raining blood with that massive mofo drum kit setup in the background...it was fantastic. These guys have stayed true to form all these years without any real disappointing albums. Reign In Blood isn't the no 1 thrash metal album of all time for nothing.
