seriously, dont do it! Clear tail lights look good on jap cars and some utes. VR/S and EF/L should not be fitted with these monstrosities

Oh no... I never thought I'd see such a day. They look just as bad as the ones for VR/VS Commies.

Im all for personal taste and choice, and mine is that i would never ever put them on my car. 10 points for effort in making them, but the shape of the EF/L's just doesnt lend themselves to it.

I will say i like them on AU/BA utes though (go ahead and kill me now). :togo:

I dont like them much either, but I think that if the design was tweaked it could work. Maybe by playing around with the size/shape/position of the lights and the color of the surround it could work.

It certainly does change the look of the car

They look pretty good to me! If they were on a red EF with white wheels they'd look sick as.

They're just like hubcaps on a new series, at first they look shit then they grow on you.

Although they're pretty audacious tail lights, I don't think they cheap or tacky, they would look right at home on a new car (like a mazda 6 etc) they just take a bit of getting used to on a mid 90's family sedan. They look quite neat and tidy. Better than some of the AU lites that are out there. They've been a long time coming, I remember haring about aftermarket EF/L lites back in 02.
Where are the EA/B/D lites? ;)
