china has the grips on the world these days, everything is from china or india and that is scary as they still dont have quallity control.

Toyota had better watch out. China is good at quality but they are no respecters of intellectual property when it comes to adopting designs as their own. This is the way things are heading:

China will no doubt become the major producer of manufactured goods in the world.
While only specialist niche products will be made in other countries. Auto industry are paving the way somewhat, but once auto manufacturers are established, those same quality control and production efficencies will flow onto other manufacturing operations. |
