Whilst the kids are still studying full time (Uni) I've been picking up the tab for;
4 cars (Ford Territory, Ford RTV, VW Eos, Mazda 323 Astina) 2 dirt bikes (KTM 400 EXC, KTM 200 EXC) 1 box trailer And they all fall due across a 2 month period $$$ Apart from the expense I have to keep my wits about me to remember which ones been inspected, which green slip goes with what, insurance cover too for most of them etc etc. I've started culling, my bikes gone and the trailer is rusting away .

I have been cycling to work this year since it's only a few km from home and as a result, I don't actually have any cars registered at the moment. I never thought I'd find myself cycling rather than driving but sometimes weird things happen.
I will be registering a certain ute in May... but that's a story for another day |

Do the kids ever come to you during that 2 month period and say, "Dad, can I have some money?"

Got asked at Queensland Transport the other day do you want to make all your cars rego's due at the same time...Ahhh NO!
Its something they do if you have more than 5 rego's, I suppose it saves forgetting now they have cheaped out on stickers but its a lot of cash to find at once. |
