Default Mid service - service

I service the ute every 10thou, it's now halfway between. Just thinking about if I should do a mid-service check.

Is there things that everyone else checks/replaces/bends back into position(!) every 5000km? (Apart from the normal oil & coolant level, lights and tyres inspection)

is the vehicle undergoing heavy conditions.....are there any noticeable problems

I'm of the view that if everything is done properly during routine service and with normal periodic checks then what else is there?

if the cars not getting a hiding dont worry about it. where i work our cars sometimes go up to 20,000km inbetween services (TD hilux's) and the enviroment i couldn't explain how much they get flogged and covered in so much crap and they dont have any major issues.

IMO the only time you need to do such things is if you have fluid leaks and then you need to stay ontop of them and make sure they dont run dry
