Hi All, it's that time of year again for the Mater Dei Country Fair. Please add your name if you can attend, we had such fun last year & it all goes to help & support not only one of our FTF fellow members but the Mater Dei School as well. So please come & help out & enjoy a great family day out.
 Sunday 14th October Mater Dei Country Fair. Car Display. - 9:00am to 3:00pm 229 Macquarie Grove, Camden. Meet: Harry’s Café de Wheels next to Mc Donald’s – Viscount Pl Orange Grove Time: 7:00am Depart: 7:30am As with last year, we have been asked to use the drink and food facilities at the Country Fair, as the BBQ stall is one of the main money earners on the day. This is more a social day for the family, with a car display, not a show... so no trophies. Previously we have had a good showing, with many club members leaving the site with goodies purchased from the various stalls within the site. Attending: 1. MY09FG

Sierra63 The Mater Dei Country Fair is on Sunday 14 October, 2012 at Mater Dei, Macquarie Grove Road, Camden This is a day when our Parents and Friends Association shines as they organise a fantastic day. At our Country Fair we provide great stalls, wonderful displays and a wide variety of sumptuous foods. Mater Dei hold our ex-students reunion on the same day and welcomes students from around the country back to visit and share their stories. This is a very powerful and wonderfully moving day in the life of Mater Dei. A big thank you to all who came down to the show on Sunday, I personally appreciate the support that the club has shown for this event over a number of years, as this is my sons school.... .
 The weather shone on the day, with a light breeze and warm sun all day, and I hope that you all enjoyed the day. The usual suspects went home with many items of plant life, retrieved from the school grounds, along with quantities of food items consumed, and gambling habits fed by the chocolate wheel. There seemed to be substantial crowd of people walking around all day, and the news from the school is that the provisional total for the day is approximately $23K, which now being checked. Same time, same bat channel next year???
