Hey all
Come see FPV's DRIF6 rip it up at Queensland Raceway this weekend. Practice and qualification is on Saturday evening but the real event is on Sunday. DRIF6 will be out there up against the Jap cars and hopefully the Holden Ute and Monaro. The Ford is currently in 5th place in the championship so come down and support the blue oval. Maybe the club could have a cruise to the event and represent. Look forward to seeing you there drop in to the pits and say gday. More info at www.driftaustralia.com.au Cheers Adam |

I like watching drifting.
I favour circuit racing but I still like to watch and appreciate the different skills associated with drags, rallying, speedway, or drifting etc.. |

I thought I read elsewhere the DRIF6 didnt have the funds to get to QLD? Did someone help you out Adam?
Also, when watching the SBS coverage from Mallala, the car looked great, but seemed to have limited mid-corner control compared to some of the more well established cars. Is this the nature of the weight of the car, or is it just still fine-tuning of the suspension? Cheers

Hi Guys
The drift weekend was sensational. Robbie Bolger took out the weekend in the tyre shredding Monaro. Unfortunately for Warren Luff he was given a test drive of the Drift 6 and managed to plonk it into the fence, thus bringing Adams aspirations to an end. I did notice the odd XR8 in the carpark (but they may not admit it). Lots of 18 year olds in Nissans though! All up it was a top turnout. Not sure if I would like to drive my XR8 in the same fashion.
