its silver

chrome rims on a silver car with black door handles and orange indicators.....

its silver.

or is it gold? hard to tell from those pics...

its a **** ugly ea, with good front bumper side skirts and rear bar.

paint it and colour code door handles it will look better.
lose the chromes and it will look even better

What's wrong with silver? I've always found that Platinum Silver is one of the nicest EA colours. I loved that colour even before I bought my EA. It's a classy colour, it looks elegant, it can just gleam in the sun, and it hides dust really well.

It does need clear indicators, and I agree the door handles do need colour coding (something I still haven't done), but other than that it looks great

personal preference.
id never ever buy another e series unless its either black or cobalt blue or a white el xr.

anything else in my opinion just looks alot older than what it is.

also id never buy an ea or a ed xr6 or eb gt lol purely cos they r ugly

I much prefer the darker EA style interior (well, in Ghia form anyway) over the pale grey EBII/ED interior. As for the exterior, sure the EB and ED look better, but not by much. The EA GL in stock form looked crap, but S-pack and Ghia were great looking cars. Plus you have to respect the EA. If it wasn't for the EA, the EBII wouldn't even exist. The EA was such a good looking car, they thought if it aint broke, why fix it, and therefore kept most of it the same. But everyone has a different opinion. I just don't like it when people bag out tidy looking silver EAs

oh and i wasnt referring to this particular car but all ea interiors. they are just older styled and i dislike them, its not that big a deal. its like people saying au's look like cockroaches im sure some people like au's and they cry themselves to sleep every night cos no one else does :P.... and so they should lmao

The issue is that you effectively called ALL EAs disgusting. Some of them are crap, but some of us EA drivers take a lot of pride in our cars, and don't like it if people criticise them. If you'd said that you simply aren't a fan of EAs it wouldn't be too bad, but calling them revolting is just stupidity. I can put up with Holden fans dishing out the abuse but when E-series members start dishing it out too, I can't say I enjoy that

well said Dezza..... and its also that the whole point of forums is for positive feed back and incursagment even though he/she is not in the club..... if you want people to help with you're manual conversion this is not the way to reply to people in the club.

Need to fix door handles, ride height and front indicators, other than that the car looks sweet as

I like EA's - lightest E-series, and without them, we wouldn't be able to ditch the battery holder and fit EA coolant reserviors to our EB/EDs to make room for four inch turbo intake pipes

Go the EA.Its bad enough everyone else out there thinks EA's are crap but worse still when we 'hang ****' on eachother in our own club.The main thing is the guy who owns this car thinks the world of it and good on him.Probably not to keen on becoming a member know hopefully he might rethink an oppitunity if it arears.
