Superlows would be perfect for what you're after. They are low enough to look good, but not low enough to cause any problems.

do you have the EA body shape or EF?
i have problems scraping with superlows WITH a bodykit. if you got superlows fitted you'd have to be extra extra cautious not to damage it

Depends on the car. If you bothered to do a search you would have seen people get varied results from King superlows, some sit level, some don't. Shock choice will also effect the ride height, among other things.
I have SL's all round and it sits level.

EB-ED tend to sit a little lower than EF with the same springs.
Lows are close to the same height as XR. Ultra-lows, while they look great, will have you scraping on bumps without load. Super-lows will still look good and you can put load on the back without worrying about ripping your rear kit off, however you will have the occasional front scrape. You can put lower springs in the rear than in the front, however when loaded (fuel, passengers) the car will not sit level. Shockers should not effect ride height on E-series..

i know grechie has super lows all round and the eb gt bodykit and he has scraping issues on a few things but not to bad. im using monroe gt gas in the back of mine and i recon it rides like still i dont no if they all do it but it isnt that much better than my leaking origianels. but i would go superlows all round they look hot with body kits perfect height in my oppinion.

I've got Lows and i find it hard to have 5 ppl + slabs + sub + full tank of fuel in the car without scraping on most speed humps and driveways. Superlows are the way to go, but i think lows sit nice, not 4X4 stocko spec and not tooo low. With supers the gard sits just over the tyre and lows its about a inch over the tyres, ive got pics of my EL if you want to see Lows

My experience is with King springs and Ford & Monroe struts/shocks, so perhaps this something that Pedders do with their struts.

how much difference is there between stadard xr front springs & king lows, the reason i ask is that i have SL in the rear & standard in the front, and the front is only a tiny bit higher, so would kings level it out? |

I had king superlows in my EF 5.0, and it looked like the rear had an ARB lift kit in it.
I recently lowered my XR8 with lovell Ultra Lows, which I was concerned about as I thought the car would just be too low, from the advice on my parts guy I went the Ultras, and I'm VERY glad I did, the car sits level, but is still a good couple fingers between the guard and the tyre with 16's. If the 18's don't fill it more, I'll be chopping the springs. |
