Default Jerky cold start.

hey guys.

In the mornings when i start my car and begin to drive it feels really jerky in 1st and 2nd gear and i spend a lot of time bunny hopping after the first few corners. my mechanic said that it was the fuel i was using so I've been using shell 98 for just about 2 tanks now and its not any better. I also reset the ECU. Its really annoying (and a little embarrassing when other people are with me haha)
does anybody have ideas??

Try cleaning the isc ( idle speed controll) located on throttle body , could be carboned up

Cam synch sensor? Mine is on the way out and when cold she is a angry so and so... coughs and splutters a bit which could be causing the jerkiness?

Just a thought..

My money would be the fuel pump sock is gunked up to high heaven or the fuel filter need to be replaced.
