yep does seem a bit pricey, but i dont have any idea how much a te50 was worth brand new, and its barely even run in it would appear and been garaged for the last 4 years, i was thinking it would be worth a few buks moreand a keeper.

I was looking at a TE50 in a car yard in melbourne about 4 weeks ago, and its price was $28000. Manual, full leather interior, premium sound, approx 95000 km (cant remember exact figure), 5.6 V8

$50,000 seems a bit pricey really..

Nice car, only one real mistake in the ad.

The location should read "away with the pixies" not North QLD.
The price is at least 10k too high (and probably 20k), the TE50 was a nice car but they sold for less than that new in 2003......

Not too many more sheckles and you can have a new BF XR8 in standard trim etc. You would REALLY want to have a TE50 to pay that much. Dreaming I think.

You could have a BF XR8 sedan for 5 grand less, or a BF GT for 7 k more.

Not worth the bux, but then again these cars are becoming rare with those sort of kms.

I guess 35 ish would pull it up.

Think id rather drive away in a BF XR8 for the same cash anyday. For that price the TE50 just doesnt compare.

Sorry to the TE50 owners...

40k may be a bit more like it, stock t3's are getting rarer, and this one has bugger all kays on it too.

They will be worth a mint in 30 years time if you can get one with low kays and completely original.

However you could by them brand new in 2004 for $45K, I was going to buy one, but what a dumb move that would have been since the XR6 T was out.

I'll get one in about 10 years time and put it in the garage for a very long time. Purely because of the hand built 347 windsor.

Only the series 1 TS50 was available in auto only. Series 1 TE50, series 2 TE50 and TS50, and series 3 TE50 and TS50 were available in either manual or auto. The TL50 in all 3 series was auto only.

TS50 - Fairmont Based Interior
TL50 - Fairlane Body, Fairlane Based Interior

Correct me if I'm wrong...

That's 99% correct as far as series 3 is concerned, except that the TL50 was Fairlane Ghia based (as was for all 3 series). For series 1 and 2, the TE50 was Fairmont based and the TS50 was Fairmont Ghia based. Had more features than the series 3.
