Hi guy's I'm hoping there are some IT guru's out there that can help me,
Recently when I open ninemsn and go to sign into my hotmail and msn mesenger, it is allready signed me in, and as I share this computer with other's I don't want it to, It never did it before hand, before I had to open ninemsn, and then go to hotmail, and then sign in with my ussername/password etc, but recently I go to the ninemsn homepage and then click on hotmail to sign in, but I am allready signed in, it does it automatically, which is not good when it is a shared computer, Also I tried to open msn messenger but it won't do anything, won't open the sign in page at all, I just click on msn messenger and it never pop's up, I get nothing. I went away for a holiday and come back and used this computer and it has happened since..... It does say something about downloading the new ninemsn messenger for 2011, but I havn't done that or anyhting yet. So does anyone know how I can get it back to previous, where I have to sign into everything.... |

on the top right side of the windows messenger you will see the add new contact button next to that (on the same line ) you will see one that says show menu click that then tools then options
in there on the left hand side you will see sign in click that one then you will see one that says " allow automatic sign in " make sure that is unchecked and then you should be right hope that helps Jason

Thank's mate, but I can't even get window's messenger to open up like it used to, I had done that ages ago and everything was allright,
But I tried to open up window's mesenger last night and it wouldn't open, I clicked on the icon in my start menu but it does nothing, so I thought I would go in to messenger via ninemsn homepage and nothing, so I went to hotmail and that's when I discovered that I was allready signed in automatically to hotmail, which I have allway's had to sign in myself before hand, So I am trying to get it so that it doesn't automatically sign me into both, ninemsn (hotmail) and ninemsn messenger ??. |

Hey mate you have double posted this topic,
Simple clear your internets private data, which removes all Internet search history and all passwords that you have marked as remember. As for msn messenger playing up on you do one of the following: Update to the newest version, try reinstalling the current version and once repaired make sure you only tick the remember me box and not the remember password. Hope this has helped. Goodluck
