On your colour they will look crap. Black, silver and white cars they work well though.

Post a pic of your car it might help us decide.

PERSONALY I'm with Mr Hardware in thinking that they are hideous! ... ANd you'll probably find me outside the front unscrewing them at 2oclock in the morning and putting some S2/3 Fairmont LED's on there lol ...

It depends on the colour aswell and how your car is set out. Some car's it really suits it like HLC's others it doesn't (not mentioning names *cough*)

They look OK on some colours - and then there are also about 4 different designs for the rears so ... whatever floats your boat. I've tried two different designs and if you are interested I have them sitting in the shed doing nothing at the moment.

This is one style ...

... and you can see the other in this pic on the car to the right ...

... and in fact the first ones are on the car to the left as well ...

My suggestion (as it's the same kind of colour as my AU). Is put on some S3 Fairmont tail lights! It'll classy up the back look of it. Also i'd put a chrome fairmont garnish on it lol. But thats just me

Sure but the bottom line is that it's your opinion that counts.

Do you like the look of them?

Can you afford them?

Do you like them enough to buy them?

If the answer in each case is "yes" then you have your answer

(I think that personal taste is a very different thing to tech mods. I'd be the first one in line asking questions about engine mods, or the best way to change transmission oil, or whatever but as far as cosmetics go you'll get many opinions for and against and be no closer to a decision. Not being a smart, just another opinion)

For me, it comes down to the color of the car and what other mods you may on the car already.

For instance, if you car is stock, and all you do is altezza's, its not a smart move.

If you have exterior mods like springs, wheels, tint etc, you could get away with it.

If your car is dark in color it helps too.

For me, I dont like them. But at the same time, Im going for a 'sleeper' look. ;)

I've been saying for ages I wish you could get the G6E Turbo tail light style in an AU shape.

They're clear, with the red reflective background for the tail/brake lights then clear for the indicator/reverse. They look really cool, just wish someone would make an "altezza" in the AU shape based on that design, other than that I don't really like many of the other altezzas, especially the headlight ones. I love my normal shiny chrome headlights!

I agree re the looks better on a dark colour (see below :voldar02: )
I think with you colour (light brown) the standard might look better. In th pic below you can compare standard to alts
