Hey guys, I just put my damaged EF Falcon on EBAY. Put it on with a starting price on $700. I normally sell cars in the Tradingpost and have never put a car on EBAY before. Is it a good place to sell this sort of thing?
I think it's a good buy so have a look on ebay by doing a general search under damaged falcon. Have a look if you have time and let me know what you think. I was asking the question as to what I should do with it on the e series forum some time back and most people said to wreck it. I was going to do this but have very limited time. Do you think if it doesen't sell I would get more money wrecking the car? Thanks guys. |

You'll generally have more luck selling it with more pics, say some interior, engine bay and backside pics. I know it costs more but youve got to spend money to make money!
Give that a try if it doesnt sell (although at $700 it should) Found the link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....sPageName=WDVW

Sell it bit by bit, you'll get more money than the car was worth before the damage. You need patience for that, and I and probably you too, don't. Go down to your Ford dealer and build a new EF from parts. Will cost something like $250,000.... True!

Thanks XR6 MARTIN for the link and thanks everyone for your opinion. If it doesen't sell I will probably wreck it. I'm still a bit attatched to the car and I get a bit depressed every time I look at it.

Was actually my mate who swerved someone who braked suddenly and ran into a Holden Astra. I owned the car and sold it to him. He had it a short while then had the accident and I brought it back off him for $400 hoping to repair it. He's now got an AUII.
