I work for a company that designs and manufactures safety guarding and automation for industry.

Couldn't be more busy at the moment, as everyone wants to have guarding installed over the christmas during the shutdown period.

I'm afraid to look in my Outlook Inbox :togo:

I work in the office at a Flour Mill and this year the boss decided that we weren't busy enough so he organised all the Audits and 5 exports overseas....Yes! We all love working 18 hr days here! Gonna be a long one tonight too because he has just informed me that we are doing a price increase for the middle of Jan...and as I am on holidays...I have to get it done before I go....

I'll give the boss HO HO HO!

The auto industry usually dies down this week and then picks up about the second week of January.

Though the beginning of this week is a bit busier than usual because everyone is getting their car serviced before they go on holidays.

My work is busier than ever, but we're a retail store so it's to be expected at this time of year.

On friday we had probably the largest turnover ever in the history of our shop. I can't wait for the flood of returned gifts between boxing day and new years eve...

Financial Planner and we are quiet as we are getting ready for 2 week shutdown as nobody wants financial advice at christmas time. Cant blame them nobody likes to be told how much money they have just wasted on christmas. They will come back and see us in January when they get their credit card bills

yeah we are probably Flat out but i am not in.

Just spent 2 weeks over seas on service, spending 11-13hrs every day in machinery voids with one 30 minute lunch brake a day. It was so humid you spent 80% of the day saturated with sweat. To me arriving back home 8am on a Sunday after 19hrs of Travel and 3hrs of sleep don't constitute a day off.

another printer here, and we are flat chat. have been for the last 2 - 3 months working round the clock 6.5 days a week. we shut down, as does most of the industry here in s.a. on the 21st so this week is going to be chaos. add to that the guy who does the night shift on my press is off already so overtime a plenty for me this week. its all good as its a very expensive time of year for most people.

Im still waiting on a Cobra that shoulda been here in November, hopefully we will get it here by friday so the owner can have his new toy for christmas, but its not looking good (thanks FPV).

Accounting division is busy to as we are trying to get everyones work in order before we go away! Busy busy time of the year :(

we had one of our busiest weeks last week, toyota's are selling strong, the problem is that everyone wants to take delivery before christmas, so i reckon sales will be down this week as we all work to get the cars out the door.
