Here we go, for another Show.

Just to remind all the Members that are intending to go to the Canley Heights Show that you should go to the Clubs face book page & Click on going & even better, like, share & respond.

You can go 1 better by putting up a post on your own timeline & inviting your Friends to this event.

I've come to realise that when you do so, anyone linked to you as " friends " will also get the news & gives us a lot more exposure.
This will also draw other users to view our FTF website & hopefully the Ford Forums where they can see us bantering.

It would be Fantastic to see some more Members get out to this Event.
It's close to home, won't take long to get there & won't cost an Arm & a Leg for a good day out.

Time to pretty up our Cars & put on a show for our Club & Sponsors.

The best part of a Show like this 1, is that you don't need a Full on Trophy Car to join in. What we can do is set up our Circus & possibly win a Trophy for the best Club display.

If we could do that, it would be a winner for our current Sponsors & good seller as I approach new potential Sponsors

I'm bringing the Club Trailer so the BBQ is on.

Event Location: Canley Heights RSL Sporting Club, 28 Humphries Road Wakeley.
Event Details: Assemble at Homebase, and we take the trailer and cruise to the event, setup for the show.

Group Meet Location: Meet at Homebase, 19 Stoddart Road, Prospect, NSW 2148.
Group Meet Time: 06:15
Group Departure Time: 06:45 (Sharp)

A cracker of a day.
We got to the site bright and early, and setup camp with the assembled FTF cars and the trailer. Once camp was set, then the next task was breakfast on the BBQ, with bacon, eggs, rolls and bread.

Slowly, cars began to arrive, all makes models, mostly old school, but some very nice examples, and the temperature began to climb, and a light breeze began to blow.

The club members we camped out under the shade provided by the club canopies, with the flags a fluttering, what a sight. Lunch was fried potatoes, bacon, sausages and onions, with your choice of bread or rolls. I think everyone had a good feast, with a number of people having a good look at the display as we tucked into lunch.

After all that, the club was presented the trophy for best club display.. Well done one and all, with many hands helping to pack away the trailer. Until the next time. (Have a look on the "FTF Car Club" Facebook page, to see some of today's pictures.

It's always a great day when we win a Trophy as a Club. that's right. The Members that could be bothered attending won a Trophy today for Best Club Display. Good on us. Thanks to all the Members that put in the work. Great Job. Better than Christmas Party.
