Hi all , My son has a KF Laser and we are having overheating problems .
We have narrowed it down to the thermo fan .The fuse is ok ,and when i hook the fan directly to the battery it works , but if you let idle for a while it overheats but the fan will not cut in .Is there a sensor in or near the thermostat that tells the fan to cut in at a certain temp . The air con fan works when the air con is turned on but the engine fan doesn't Any help would be welcome , Dayvo |

the fan should have a sender into the engine block or into the radiator at the bottom
for switching on and off ro cool follow the wires from the fan if the temp sender inlet manifold unit has two wires then that may be faulty
