Sorry if I am in the wrong section but I cannot find help on how to upload photo's.My pictures are in a jpeg format but the forsale section requests files starting with http//: I know that is the prefix to uploading a youtube clip but I don't see the connection to a photo on your computer. Greatly appreciate advice or place to find it.

Would be best to setup a hosted photo gallery.
I'd normally suggest photobucket for ease of use ... but they have had nothing but problems with DDOS issues of late. Maybe imgur would be the go.

Why does the image request http// can anybody explain. There is no manage option at the bottom of the page either. Mine is similar to your example but different layout, however there is no 'manage' option.

Does nobody bother to read the T&C in the FS area? It clearly states:
Note: The form used in all the For Sale areas has a bug in it where it won't accept linking directly to the image uploading box without a user linking to a picture via a URL. The picture doesn't have to be related and if you don't have one then just link to fordforums.com.au/clear.gif - it's basically a picture of a blank pixel. Once you have done that and clicked submit you will be taken to the normal picture upload dialogue box where you can upload as you normally would. Russ

Thanks, thats all I was after and it is not always obvious where to go for help. I dont know why nearly every request is met with a complaint, its supposed to be about help and sharing ideas.

Nearly every request is met with a complaint? Hardly correct. Indeed several people in this thread had attempted to help but the not unreasonable expectation is that before posting in the FS area, a read of the specific information supporting that area is generally a good starting point. We have day jobs and while we freely give our time to assist others there is a point at which you have to take some responsibility to use the tools provided. Russ
