What 0-100 times can a 445kw tuned GT with good rubber achieve? The 0-100 times advised on KPM's Streetfighter package are rather disappointing for the power output at 4.3 seconds.

We only see a few cars that need them added, since these cars are still new its not needed but once they get older we will see the need for them.
This car did not need it

4.3 disappointing? The first 2 seconds would be spent getting grip, I reckon.

Can grip be achieved? Wouldn't mind being able to actually mow down some fast contemporary RWD cars (M5, Porsche, Ferrari all in vicinity of 0-100 in 3.5 sec) in the humble GT if I were spending that sort of coin.

Theo
do you have any data comparing power outputs of Di Filipo v Manta. When you say header back, do you means cats and cat back, or including headers? How much is the Di Filipo headers, cats and cat back system worth (happy for PM)? What does it sound like compared to the Manta set up? |

The headers will always make a difference on any engine. The efforts to put headers on doesn't out weigh the KW in return of dollars spent on a 5.0. If you are putting a forged motor in then its a different story.
The Di Filippo system we use in our package uses a Header delete pipe that bolts on to the Factory Header and moves the cats back near the start of the Cats back. We have found this to work very well for us. Manta have never really kicked off in Melbourne, the only cars we see with them are the ones that are transported over from W.A Di Filippo Header back system is Quad $3300 Fitted + Tips and Ute $2700 Fitted + Tips

Hi Theo,
I have a 2013 GT with a tune + filter (376 RWKW) How much would I have to budget for a package like the one bellow, what sort of performance would I expect with 470 odd RWKW assuming I could get traction? thank you Theo Quote:

thanks Theo, so the factory header remains in situ, you then have the factory cat delete pipe and then after market cats moved further under the car then run into a catback.
Clearly some R&D has gone into that to arrive at that solution which sounds pretty smart - any chance of a sound clip. I am putting a forged motor in and a big boy KB but I am tossing up extractors and exhaust - I still havent heard a Di Filippo system yet |

Thank for your prompt reply Theo,
It's good to know how much I need to budget for, I haven't heard much about this Di fillip system, -how to they compare to the X force system? -being a 3 inch system to they drone much? -would keeping the factory system and just changing cats give similar results? thanks Theo |
