Default How do you tighten the rear view mirror on the windscreen?

in most cars i have seen the rear view is held on by allen key screws, i need to tighten up my rear view mirror to get rid of annoying noises.

over bumps, or on songs with a bit of bass the rear view vibrates.

the au mirrors look different to the ones i have seen before.

so how do you take them off/tighten them up.

dont know about the au's but if its got sort of ball joint type things then pop them out and use either a lil silicone, let it dry then click it back together. or else some of the foam tape also works

Allen key bolt holds it tight.

it's a little grub screw, it may have fallen out from vibration or bass.

Yep - allen key grub screw, about 3 or 4mm - I had to tighten mine as it was vibrating all over the place!
