Wow, G6 LE with Ecoboost for $37,490 is pretty darned good value
especially for EB debuting on the scene, Ford wants to turn heads..

Choice of three engines no less.....

Apparently there are only going to be 800 of these. Dealers should have them in stock now with ecoboost.

Myself would not be put off by the fact the prices are similar in 4cyl and 6cyl form,in fact id buy the EB without even a test drive.

What time is left should be exciting for Ford I recon/hope.

Is 4cyl turbo rego the same as 6cyl turbo?

This is what was in the advertisement in Saturdays West Australian in the car section. Was an official ford ad which had a picture of the limted edition g6mk2 and said 24/800.

Interesting, I hope we're about to get a rolling succession of discounted products to shock the market..
Ford really needs to get in buyers faces and that's the way to do it, head down tail up and continued ads..

Not every dealership will take 4. Some dealerships will get alot bigger allocation then others.

Plus the last G6 50th Anniversary was a flop...

I meant that as an average figure and sure larger dealerships in the city will flog more of them
and I think this one stands a chance by having a variety of engines as well as leather trim.

Oh, fingers crossed that this is the perfect springboard for Ecoboost and EcoLPI to the retail market..

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.. Based on current private sales of Falcon, 800 would be a good 3-4-5 months worth of supply!!!! And that is if they dont sell any XR6's, which is not likey. If we only look at G6 sales we could be talking 6-7-8 months worth of supply..

Bit pessimistic. With all the extra gear including rear camera, leather, G6ET rear spoiler etc, these limited G6's should sell a lot quicker than the standard G6's.

Good value in my opinion and should boost G6 sales markedly.

OI must say that this MKII G6 looks far better than the MKII G6E ... the lighter colors help it too ... but still I personally can't see how this car will appeal design wise to the younger generation ... why no XR EcoBoost???

Certainly appeals to me, whilst I like the xr's I'm not a fan of body kits. And I love the FG shape.

For the sake of its brand I hope not...while I dont mind being proven wrong I reckon once people start tuning these things they will get power gains no worries, but I dont kow if it will equate to any better consumption which kind of defeats the ecoboost mantra.

FPV should stay hipo 6 and 8's, in a Falcon shell anyway.

I was really hoping the G6 name would be dropped for FG2. Even Futura is starting to sound pretty good now in comparison.
